1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of Locksmith Umhlanga, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable South African laws and regulations.

2. Services

Locksmith Umhlanga provides locksmith and security services including but not limited to:

  • Residential locksmith services (lockouts, lock replacements, rekeying)
  • Automotive locksmith services (car lockouts, transponder key cutting)
  • Commercial locksmith services (master key systems, access control)
  • Smart lock and keypad entry installation
  • Security upgrades (anti-snap cylinders, window locks, gate locks)
  • Key cutting and duplication
  • Safe opening, repairs, and combination changes

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). A fixed call-out fee applies, starting from R450, which varies by time of day and distance. We provide a complete quote before starting any work. The quoted price is the final price, with no hidden costs. We accept cash and card payments on-site.

4. Emergency Call-Out Policy

Our 24/7 emergency service operates 365 days a year. After-hours and public holiday call-outs may attract a surcharge, which will be communicated before dispatch.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made before a technician is dispatched. Once a technician has been dispatched, the call-out fee may apply. We understand that plans change and will work with you to reschedule where possible.

6. Service Guarantee

Locksmith Umhlanga strives to provide quality workmanship. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 7 days and we will work to resolve the issue at no additional cost.

7. Limitation of Liability

Locksmith Umhlanga shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

8. Property Access

By requesting our services, you confirm that you are the owner or authorised occupant of the property or vehicle requiring locksmith services. We may request identification or proof of ownership before providing access.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Locksmith Umhlanga and is protected by South African copyright laws.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, with the courts of KwaZulu-Natal having jurisdiction.
